First thought: ODD
Second thought: Her butt for all the world to see
Third thought: I wouldn't let my kids behave that way.
Fourth thought: But she's enjoying her body. Isn't that a good thing?
To me she seems shameless. Body cannot be taken casually. May be this casual attitude toward body is why people in the West have so many sexual partners. Not that people in India don't have sex or pre-marital sex. But there one is told to stay away from it so when one gets it, it feeds the hunger. But in the West it is no big deal to have sex. For adults. Before marriage. And so there is a casual attitude about one's body. Not enough care for the soul of the body.
I wonder how that woman in the park feels about her body.
PS: These are my perspectives & as my husband put it "very prudish". I own it. And not everyone one in the West is that casual with their bodies. But this is how I see it.
You know, I'm not sure that there is necessarily always a correlation between dressing in a way that exposes more skin and having a relatively liberal or open view of sex - I know plenty of women who are fine not being covered up, but are moderately to extremely conservative when it comes to sexual practise. on the other hand, cultures within which conservative dress is encouraged may not tend to have as much pre-marital sex, but there is prob. a much higher level of extra-marital sex, and that's considered no big deal. and e.g. in india, there is a much higher level of rape, largely, i think, because one always wants what is forbidden. but i'm just playing devil's advocate - there are def. pros and cons to both ways.
